Veterans Technology Assistance Workshop

The American Legion Post 259 & Auxiliary Unit 259 are inviting you to join our upcoming Veterans Technology Assistance Workshop. This event will be held on Saturday, 25 October 2025, at 10:00 AM, at our Southern Maryland Youth Camp (SMYC) located at 9201 Surratts Road, Cheltenham, MD 20623. The purpose of this event is to help Veterans become more comfortable using their iPhones, and Android devices, and related mobile technologies. Many of our members, particularly seniors, are eager to learn how to better utilize their smartphones for everyday needs such as staying connected with family, managing healthcare information, and accessing online services.


We will have Technical Support – Volunteers and representatives from Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T who can provide hands-on guidance to Veterans in learning how to use their smartphones effectively.
